Day 12-Caring for others

This is the 31 Day blogging challenge for Blockbuster Inspiration. This site is dedicated to looking at quotes from movies from a Biblical perspective. Thank you for stopping by today. At the end of the 31 days I will be giving away a movie gift basket. All you have to do to be included in the drawing is leave a comment on each post every day for the whole month. You can also leave a comment on the Blockbuster Inspiration Facebook page for an addition chance to win.

Today's quote comes from the movie Radio, with Cuba Gooding Jr., Ed Harris and Debra Winger. This is a movie about a football coach who befriends a mentally challenged man from the community. He allows "Radio" to become an honorary member of the football and basketball teams and the local school. The coach soon learns that not everyone in the town is in favor of his friendship with Radio.

Here is the quote along with the connecting scripture.

"It's never a mistake to care for someone. That's always a good thing"

Philippians 2:4 (NASB)

"do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others"

Rather than spending time trying to show you how this is important I'm going to let the quote and the scripture speak for themselves.

I'll simply leave you with this.

How can you show someone you care today?
